A couple of years ago, I made a memory jar for my Mom. It was really frugal, but thoughtful in the way most Moms love their gifts. I used an older Mason jar that I cleaned up and I typed out 365 great memories of my Mom from life. I wrote them as individual thank-yous… like "Thank you for all the times you drove me to the mall when you really didn't want to" and "Thanks for making sugar cookies on that one rainy day when we were riding bikes in the garage" and so on. It's intended to be a perpetual jar and she can save the memories and fill up the jar again every year. I fancied up the Mason jar with some lace and butterflies and my Mom loved it. Very frugal, but a very happy Mom! Happy Mother's Day!
