Seneca & Cherokee Park in Louisville have terrific hills for a day of sledding and sliding in the snow. We have hit the "slopes" every day for the past week. What a great time- and you don't even have to purchase a lift ticket! The boys never seem to run out of energy- they snowboard (or sled) down the hill & then march right back up to the top to do it all over again.Certainly, one could enjoy longer rides at local ski resorts, but for beginners or those looking to save a buck- the hills throughout the park fit the bill.
Each of the boys have learned enough at this point that I have full confidence in their abilities to hit some real slopes!
We ended up with 6-8 inches of snow on the ground and perfect conditions for my beginning snowboarders!

Looks like you had a great time in the snow! We have been enjoying birdwatching this winter as they are so much easier to see without the leaves!
