The CHEC Preserve

Count the alligators in and around the pond at CHEC Preserve- take a walk on the nature trails, visit the Nature Center or stroll through the butterfly garden. There is a bird blind for watchers and photographers - a picnic area for when you are hungry and an interesting center where you can get up close and personal with animals of the stuffed variety. (strange as it may sound- it is a great way for people to get a good look at critters they may not otherwise ever REALLY see.)
