The Calusa Nature Center in Fort Myers Florida is a great place to spend the day (or just the afternoon). There are nature trails (of course we love that) and light shows. We learned about what the night sky over Southwest Florida looks like this time of year and how to identify constellations that are overhead right now. There are creatures for viewing that have been rescued from various situations, and plenty of educational information.
