#31days of Exploring God's Creation - Day 24 - Location, Location, Location

I'm joining bloggers from around the web in a "#31days of" challenge - You can read the other participants on their fabulous blogs here.
"Never loose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful, for beauty is God's handwriting"      Ralph Waldo Emerson

Today I'd like to talk about a little thing we often referred to in the Real Estate biz:
Location, Location, Location!

The large majority of people in the United States and around the world- have some kind of access to the great outdoors. Whether it is a small park down the way, or you happen to live in a beach town (like us), most people can manage to get outside to do some exploring.

I'd like to encourage you to use what you have! Use your location to inspire nature studies and instill a love of exploring creation with your family.
If you live near the beach, you can collect and categorize sea shells:

We collected these today for some homeschool friends in another state-
Thank you @hodgepodgemom for sending us some beautiful Fall leaves!

No matter where you live, you can work to instill a love of all things outdoors by showing enthusiasm for both the creatures found out in nature:

. . . . and  by spending time outside with the family at a local park:

So, whether you're down on the farm:

Up in the mountains:

Or by the sea:

Use what you have! Research your location, and get outside to explore God's creation:

Most of all, I'd like to encourage you to make the most out of each day you have and make wonderful memories with your family in the great outdoors!

Each day is a gift; an opportunity to look with open hearts at the world around us; to investigate something new that was made by our Creator. It's an opportunity to share with your family another quiet moment marveling at the wonders that abound in nature, and to be grateful

What can you find to share with your family right there, in your location?

Now, I've read the book. It touched me in a way that none other besides the Bible ever has. I've even given away copies of the book because I love it so very much and I desperately want each and every one of you to know what a life of gratitude is like- not because of what we have - but because of who He is. And, so I am beginning my online count in order to share with you the gratitude which fills my heart:

#1 - for the dreams of a little girl, and for bringing them to fruition
#2 - for the gifts from the sea - the lovely sea shells that always make me smile
#3- the sunsets You paint the sky with
#4 - sand between my toes
#5 - fresh air and sunshine
#6 - healthy little boys jumping through the waves
#7- the husband who works hard all day and loves to be at home
#8 - little boys who each slip in one at a time just to give a hug while I write, and quietly slip out
#9 - peace in the storm

Have a beautiful day y'all,

You are so right. I don't think I can homeschool without using our local outdoor resources. My list of what we want to do before we leave this state is starting to pile up! We have yet to go to St. Augustine--so that's on the list. Jekyll Island, (GA, I know) too. Hey...I think there is camping in St.Augustine...maybe a camping slash field trip to St. Augustine?? Just thinkin out loud...

Kelli, how fun to read your list! And yes, no matter where we live there's always something to explore in nature. I live in the southwest desert which is quite different from your area. However, I just returned from the Tampa, FL area recently as I was visiting family there. I love the beach!

Thank you for stopping by Heart Choices. And let's keep on counting those everyday blessings. I love Ann's Multitudes on Mondays too.

Blessings,
Debbie
