#31days of Exploring God's Creation - Day 26- Look Up!

Participating throughout the month of October in the
#31days Series from "Nesting Place"

Day #26 - Look Up!

-inspired by a prompt from the 52 Photos Project I found on my friend MJ's blog-WanderWonder

On Day #25 We talked about Perspective  - with relation to the attitude you present to your family
on any given adventure and how it can "set the tone" for the whole experience.

Look Up! is a terrific inspiration for the 52 Photos project and it can serve you well when
Exploring God's Creation! Have you taken the time to look up lately?

Glad I didn't miss these opportunities to "look up" and see the natural beauty around me:

This regal creature was sitting up in a tree just down the road.

On a family walk down a trail through the woods, I noticed how the setting sun
was directly reflected in the tree - like a spot light!

This tower is on Cabbage Key island - accessible only by boat or sea plane- it is the old
water tower- the house was originally owned and occupied by renowned playwright and novelist
Mary Roberts Rinehart back in 1938. I wonder if she climbed the tower taking
in the views to fuel her creative fires on Cabbage Key?

In Charlotte Harbor

I took this laying flat on my back on a little bitty uninhabited island.

Osprey flying overhead

I love the way the sun reflects off the palm

Florida Brown Pelican - just hanging out!

Job 26:7-9 “He spreads out the northern skies over empty space;
he suspends the earth over nothing.
He wraps up the waters in his clouds, yet the clouds do not burst under their weight.
He covers the face of the full moon, spreading his clouds over it.”

Don't forget to look up!

Kelli these photos are beautiful!!!! Every single one of them. I am so glad you joined in. I just love how photography is making me want to see things differently, like a brand new experience every time. A shadow isn't just a shadow and a light pole isn't just a light pole. And I this meme works perfectly with the one you 've been doing all month!

Wow, beautiful pics, the water tower reminds me of Petticoat Junction. Your probably to young to remember that tv show. It came on in the late 60's and early 70's. Keep looking up :)
