3in30 - November Progress

3in30 Challenge

Already well into November and it seems to be flying by! I posted about my November goals in detail  here.
But, to break it down for you :
1. Bible reading daily
2. Taking steps to improve my health
3. Blog organization and scheduling my posts (so many wonderful things to participate in- so little time!)

As for my progress this week :

Bible Reading-  I have been a bit of a slacker on the Proverbs reading, I'm not too far behind
and hope to catch up this week- but, it isn't something I want to breeze through - it's not a race, it's an
adventure, growing closer to my Creator- so I will go one step at a time and enjoy the journey. I may be
slacking on my personal Bible time a bit- but I have still done daily Bible with the kiddos. God is working
so much in our lives. If you haven't read about "Our Adoption Story" please check it out- this week we
celebrated our babies birthday and I've been really focused on being grateful for how far he has come-
how far God has brought us all - He is healing that baby boy of mine and growing me at the same time!

Health- I've been drinking water! It's a big deal y'all - It's NOT on my good list! It is one of the major
things I need to do to improve my health. I have been drinking a special health drink and moving my
body by walking on the beach and stretching. I am so very grateful for the encouragement from Carrie
at Young Living Oils   - She is not only helping me with suggestions to improve and heal from RA- but
is encouraging me regularly and supporting me in prayer! What a help! What a coach! What a friend!

Blog Organization-  Well, I made my list of link-ups to participate in. Then I lost my list. It wasn't in my
documents - it was via old fashioned pen and paper- now it is old fashioned lost! :) It still did help me to
be a bit more organized and I am re-doing it now. I'm happy with the progress so far on my blog  but
mostly I feel that God is blessing me so much through women like you! From our homeschool life, to our journey in adoption, to writing, and even my own physical healing - I have received so much encouragement
from you - It is such a blessing to be able to blog and share our experiences and what God is doing in
our life. Little at a time, my writing grows, the blog grows, and it is all falling into place. Thank you!

*Health- Spent time this weekend walking on the beach - picking up shells - relaxing with my family!

Jeremiah 29:11:
"'For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans of peace and not of evil,
to give you a future and a hope'"

Gorgeous photo! I, too, would like to get more organized with my blogging. There is so much I could do with my blog, but I agree with your "so little time" observation!

That's my favorite scripture of all time! I always seem to come across it when going through rough places in my life.

I go to a small Baptist church and we started saying a 5-sentence thing every Sunday. At first it didn't mean much to me but has come to mean a lot: "Nothing can touch me unless it goes through the blood of Jesus who bought me" and "I am safe and secure in the hands of God my Father."

Awesome photo! And thanks for commenting on my blog too.

I keep meaning to join the 3 in 30 linky. I could just rewrite your list as my own! :)
Love the photo too!
