Teach Them Diligently - Geo Matters Giveaway!

Deut 6:7  "And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children,
and thou shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house."

I am thrilled about the upcoming Teach Them Diligently Convention !!!

Teach Them Diligently Convention

Are you planning to come for this epic event?
Registration is only $40  and gives you access to some of
"homeschool's best of the best" speakers, teachers, and preachers!

There is a star studded cast of speakers and workshops to choose from including:
Jeannie Fulbright, Ann Dunagan, Ken Ham, Senator Jim Demint and many more
(go here to see a full list of convention speakers)

I'm excited to be going and looking forward to these awesome speakers and meeting up
with a whole lot of  homeschool moms and other bloggers - let us know if you are
planning to attend so we can include you in the blogger and mommy meet-ups.

Can't wait - Can't wait - Can't wait!
- I  DO hope you'll join me -

Now. . . . . . . .

I am absolutely beside myself to have the honor of giving away what I consider to be
one of the best giveaways - like- ever

You've heard me brag before about the Geo Matters Curriculum,
and you know there isn't much more that we love around here besides exploring.
Well - this week I'm giving away
(drum-roll)

The
Paths of Exploration

Paths of Exploration

The value of this curriculum, in my opinion, is far above the $150.00 cost!
Not only does it include a full year's course for your 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, but it is adaptable for
2nd and 6th grade as well. Not only does this Geo Matters curriculum teach geography, but also science, history, language skills, and the arts. It takes your students on a journey to discover the how's and why's
of our nations beginning. They learn about our countries greatest explorers in a way that motivates them to learn more. The goal of Paths of Exploration and the other Trail Guide to Learning series is to "teach your children How to think and not just What to think."

My children love it!

I love it!

From my personal experience in our home, I can tell you that it works.
I love the dialogue this program has opened up in our home as we read stories from real books
(not just text books) about people from history and then do more of the hands on activities, science projects, or related lapbooks to solidify their learning experience. They are not just reading about a certain character, but about where they are from, more details about the state and the surrounding circumstances - history comes alive for them as the learning unfolds in this manner and they begin to understand the bigger picture.

*I have been provided a free ticket to the awesome TTD convention for helping to promote them, I am not receiving any compensation otherwise and the prize is drawn randomly using the Punch Tab program

I would like to win POE for a friend that is desperately seeking something that will work for her children. I would love to give this to her as a gift, as mine was given to me.

Winning POE would help us with our Geo lessons, I would use it with my oldest two.

I have never used Geo matter! Is that a reason? haha! I have 6 kiddos still at home, ages 13 down to 1, so it would be well used and much appreciated!

I have heard such good things about this, and it sounds like the age range would be perfect for my two for next year or the following. We are huge adventurers here, so it would be so great!

We pulled our oldest three children out of public school during the Christmas break this year. It was a hasty - but very necessary - decision, and we did not have time or money enough to purchase decent curriculum. Since what we did purchase came on defective CD-ROMs, I have been making up all our lessons from scratch. Winning this would be a great time-saver for me!

I am a SAHM of three boys who I homeschool and this would be a great project to do!

This looks like such a good all-in-one curriculum fit for my boys. The reading mixed with hands-on would work so well. Thank you for the chance to win!

I homeschool my children and would love to use this with them.

I follow them on Twitter...but it wouldn't give me the extra entry for it?

We would love to win. Curriculum from Geo Matters is on my wishlist. Several years of unemployment have made it hard for our wishes to come true, but we wish nonetheless! Your email entry button wasn't working (I didn't want to do the FB entry method), so I hope my comment here and liking you on FB can count as my entry.

I REALLLLLLLY want to win this curriculum!!! I have looked and looked and looked at it but it is a bit pricey. Not that it's not worth it because I know it is......it's just not in our budget right now. I <3 everything about it and have been 'following' it for quite some time!

Looking forward to the conference and hoping to win some great materials for family and church.

I would love to win to relieve a burden of a friend who's husband doesn't have steady work (although he works very, very hard to provide for his family.) We had just been talking about how she wasn't sure where the money for next year's school was going to come from, but she knew God was in control and He would make things work. What a blessing it would be for them.

I haven't used or seen Geo Matters before, but I thin the Paths of Exploration would be a great fit! Thanks so much.
