Creation Club- Louisville

A day in the park! Finally, we are getting some warm weather- Don't get me wrong, we totally enjoyed spending time in the snow for a nice change this year, but it is great to be thawing out! We hit the Veterans Memorial Park on Taylorsville Road today to meet the Creation Club & collect some samples from nature.

There is a little creek that runs along the outskirts of the park & the sound of the water flowing over the rocks & the sunshine made for an excellent day. We collected rocks, worms, various other bugs, found deer tracks, and saw a beautiful Mallard duck fly in and land on the creek. It was a lovely day. (Now all I have to do is figure out what to do with these lovely samples) LOL-

Actually, we have dollar store magnifying glasses to study them with & will add to our nature journals. We may even make a nature collage out of our treasures (bugs excluded)!

The important thing is to get out and enjoy the natural world, take a walk, and learn a thing or two!
