MathBlaster- MEMBERSHIP GIVEAWAY!

We are fans. Big fans.    JumpStart  Great for Summer!

How do I get a family full of boys excited about sitting down to "do" school? I let them blast things!

Don't get me wrong- it's not a violent game by any means- but the kids get to blast off into space via an avatar of their own creation where they meet up with all sorts of fun challenges. They blast through portals into strange and faraway worlds.

The avatars can interact with other players aboard the space station. (don't worry moms, the "comments" can only be chosen from a select group of provided phrases)  There is something new around every corner as they make their way through the ranks and explore the online world of Math Blaster.

Finding DNA    In the Chem Lab - players are challenged to gather various types of chemicals to create monsters who then have the power to "morph" other players. Blasters must follow the correct formulas and mix the ingredients in order or their experiment will explode!

In Galaxy Grand Prix - players are able to build and share their own tracks as well as race other blasters. My oldest son was particularly excited to see his own creation online & to find other players enjoyed racing on the track he designed.

On Space Zapper - cadets have to blast away & be sure to choose the right answer to the equations before them. You can select from addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in this fast paced game designed to drill important math facts. With all the blasting going on, my boys hardly noticed they were doing math at all!

I can't say enough about our experience with Math Blaster - suffice it to say that I am being asked on a daily basis "can I do Math Blasters now?"  - THAT is pretty exciting stuff for a homeschool mom!
There is so much more to this program than I can possibly cover in a single review-

There are FREE trials available for you to check it out. . . . . . . . .

But guess what?

One of my readers will receive a free 3 month membership to Math Blaster!

Loved Math Blasters when I was a kid. I can still remember playing the old school version, I think with a dos running system! Great fun.

Very cool! Are there any other games like this you can recommend? My son is 5 and probably old enough for something like this.

Thanks!

I don't usually allow my daughter to play on the computer very often, but for something like this, I would be tickled if she wanted to play daily!
