When Things Go Terribly Wrong

I am guest posting today for Amanda at The Pelsers

The topic is from the How to Have a HEART For Your Kids book by Rachael Carman -
Release Them to God -  It is a topic which strikes a real cord with me, as a few years ago
I went through a life threatening situation with my firstborn son.

Had I NOT been able to release him to God - I might NOT have made it through!

I am  incredibly grateful my son is still with us
Please take a moment to hop over and read the story
You can use the link here.

Wow -- what a powerful story and a great reminder that they are not our children, but God's. I am sitting here on a Thursday morning, crying... because I am reminded of His love and grace. Crying… because I am so blessed to be given a beautiful life to mother and love. Crying… because I get too busy with the everyday stuff of life to REMEMBER this gift like I should. Crying… because I get another chance today (and every day) to remember. Crying… because I am humbled before God. Crying… because I am blessed to have read this post today by you and that it is so well-written that it has touched my heart… a direct message to me from God through your words. WOW… thank you.

Oh Amy! That means the world to me- it's what it's all about - sharing and lifting each other up - pouring out ourselves before God - thank you for your kind words.
