On Our Adventure

Teach Them Diligently Convention!
We've had a wonderful time. The speakers were phenomenal, vendors were exceptional,
and the company was excellent. I met up with many blogger friends I've been looking forward
to meeting IRL and the experience did not disappoint. I'm so thankful God provided me the
opportunity to head off on this adventure. I wanted to share a few snapshots from special moments
at the convention - although it's not possible to capture the whole experience this way - photo's
cannot convey the heart changes - the Spirit moving - and friendships forged. Like these:

I rode with Kathy Balman from Kathy's Cluttered Mind from
Atlanta to South Carolina after crashing at her house! Fun Fun!

My online "book club friend" and awesome host- Amanda from The Pelsers
(by the way - her new ebook "Finding Joy in Depression" is a must read and currently only $4.99)

Jenny from @SouthernSavers - the super frugal queen was one of the awesome speakers
this past weekend - y'all know, I'm all about frugal!

We managed a group shot at the convention - from left to right back to front:
Kathy from Kathy's Cluttered Mind , Amy from Raising Arrows , Amanda of The Pelsers
bottom row: Me , Rebecca of MomsMustardSeed, Holly Syx of I Go BOGO

Now, I'm hanging with my girl Rebecca - in between conferences - headed to ApologiaLive this
next weekend. It's an adventurous couple of weeks.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to share time with these sisters!
God has blessed me richly through each one of them and I know He will continue to.

One of my favorite things is seeing our children learn, play, and worship together
The boys listened intently as Rebecca led Bible time this morning - I love it!!

Food for thought:

Ephesians 5: 15 - 17 and 20
"See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be unwise,
but understand what the will of the Lord is."
20 "Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father
in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ"

I'm counting my blessings:

#190 God moving mountains to get me to this fellowship
#191 Opportunity to hang with other homeschool moms
#192 Precious friends and family who open their homes and hearts
#193 Nature walks with the children
#194 Like-minded friends
#195 Supportive husband who always encourages
#196 Fresh air and sunshine and days with no pain!
#197 New friends
#198 Spring time blossoms
#199 The renewing of my mind

We've played at the park - taken a nature walk to listen to the birds - and came home to do
a Unit Study on Robins - now the kiddos are back outside enjoying the great outdoors
I'm off to join them!
I'll post more later about our experiences in Atlanta

Thank you for sharing the wonderful verses and pictures. I hope we get to meet IRL one day!

I love that verse about "redeeming the time." I often evaluate how I'm using that precious resource and pray that He will help me use it more effectively.
