Kids in the Kitchen - 10th Linky

Welcome to Kids in the Kitchen!
I'm teaming up with my good friend Carrie to bring you this fun linky
It is our desire to encourage families to enjoy time in the kitchen together
preparing and enjoying meals.

This week I have a very simple idea for a quick snack or lunch.
Instead of buying frozen, over processed pizza bites - make your own!
It's also a great place to start if you are new to cooking with the kiddos - there is hardly any mess

Grate some cheese - or recruit your little helpers - you can use mozzarella - cheddar jack
(or any other favorite cheese)
Un-roll a package of croissant rolls - or roll out some pizza dough
You can use homemade - of course - or buy some from the local bakery!
(cut into triangles like the croissant rolls come packaged)
Have the children sprinkle on some fresh cheese + add regular or turkey pepperoni
roll them up and bake according to dough directions
These are good with or without a touch of red sauce - we find it easier to dip them than to cook
with our favorite red sauce - They are delicious just as they are!

*Up the health factor - and relieve your guilt by serving with raw veggies like carrots -n- broccoli

I hope you'll join us again this week and link up your favorite fun family recipes!
Just grab the button with code from my side bar or copy/ paste this one below:

Please be sure to "like" my fb page if you haven't yet done so -
and try to visit at least 2 others who link up their yummy recipes as well!

Happily linking with:

Fun and yummy!!! What a great snack or lunch for us homeschoolers. Being home all the time, they are always hungry and wanting to eat and make something. These are great! Big hugs and blessings! Maybe we could combine the salad I shared with your pizza rolls... now that's a good combo. I guess that is why we are partners with Kids in the Kitchen :)
