You're Already Amazing

Holly Gerth wrote a book to let women know they don't have to buy into the Lies of the enemy. 

Lie #1 - You have to be perfect  

So often, we get into the damaging  habit of comparing ourselves to others. "She has it all together" 

"She's a great writer - mother - wife - woman" 

and while there is nothing wrong with admiring your sisters for their accomplishments - we need to know that "We ARE enough"  "You are enough" - Right here - Right now - just as you are. 

Psalm 139: 14 

"You are fearfully and wonderfully made" 

Holly does a wonderful job of uncovering the lies which zap our mojo and keep us from living fully in His strength and being confident in Christ - by the way - she makes it clear that being confident in Christ is not prideful - like Martha Stewart says - "It's a good thing" 

This amazing book helps you figure out your "Emotional Style". She reminds us that we have emotions because God has them too. We are given the opportunity, daily, to reflect Him. 

"We have the capacity to reflect Him" - we are made in His image 

This is a book for every woman. It digs much deeper than I can express in this short post - You need to read the book - We all need to read the book - I'm so thankful I did!
