Kids in the Kitchen - Week 17 - Frittatas

Partnering with my good friend Carrie @YoungLivingOilLady   to bring you this weekly Link Up!
Our goal is to encourage families to come together in the kitchen and bring them back to the table.
Food cooked at home - with love - is healthier and families who cook and eat together are happier
We do hope you'll join us by linking up your favorite recipes

This week: Frittatas

My little kitchen helpers use regular kitchen knives to help me. (The silverware kind - not the cut you kind)
If I chop an onion in quarters - they can take it from there! One can grate some cheese - while another readies some fresh strawberries! Another still cracks the eggs and adds a little cream. Yum! I cooked the bacon - because it's a little trickier with all the popping and so forth.

We crumbled it up once it was room temperature and added it to the eggs. I cooked the onions until translucent - then added to the eggs.

I poured the whole thing into the pan and cooked on low to medium heat until it was almost cooked through
It wasn't cooking through without beginning to burn the bottom - so I flipped it in half to make the wet egg run out to the sides and cook all the way through. Technically - it makes it an omelet - but we are sticking to our story!
We shared this between us with extra fruit and toast for a yummy brunch!

Sounds good, Kelli--and I'm not even a huge fan of eggs! The guys in my house LOVE eggs, and I'll probably give these frittatas a try. :-)
