I'm sharing encouragement for the homeschool mom (which often applies to any mom) on topics from keeping up with the house to dealing with less than cooperative children.
I'm sharing struggles from my own life - in an attempt to help us all realize that with God - we are enough.
You are the mother
your family needs.
There may be room for improvement (isn't there always?) but we know our children better than anyone. We do have what they need. We have what it takes. We can point them to Jesus - and allow grace and love to fill in. With God, all things are possible.
Patsy Clairmont spoke of a picture with a man in a boat on a lake, and a quote she loved which said:
"Pray towards heaven, and row towards shore"
In our homeschool this week…
Viva La France' - y'all . . . . . we have continued our virtual trip around Europe - this week "F" is for France
We stamped our passports and headed over - the boys found France on the map - we've looked at major landmarks and recorded the capital and other basic information about le French. We made French onion soup. Sketched Le Eiffel Tower -
"F" is also for Floating Protists, Flukes, Flatworms, Frogs, Fish and more
World of Animals from Master Books - floating protists
We are reading …
Teach Your Child To Read in 100 Easy Lessons - it works well for us! The little guys look forward to their reading time each day and to showing daddy again later how well they read.
World of Animals from Master Books is a staple in our homeschool - this week we are
studying all the "F" animals - well, a lot of them.

Please come back and link up any of your family recipes - we'd love to have ya.
Letter of the week…"F"
writing information about each animal within the square.
Words that begin with "f" from our homemade word family cards -it was good practice for
my little budding reader. He is feeling more and more proud of himself as he pushes through
a little "glitch" that has hindered his ability to learn the alphabet.

Thank you for visiting - I'll be posting daily doses of homeschool encouragement - with some detailed information about how we manage our homeschool - and struggles - daily throughout October.
Please let me know if you find these reminders and information useful or if there is something else you are looking for. I am happy to share what God has led us through (some pretty big challenges) and how He continues to carry us through each day.
