In an effort to save money this year, I'm joining my friends Marcy +Ben and Me as well as Sam +Sam's Noggin to bring you this weekly link up full of tips for becoming a more Frugal Family. We will be sharing ideas to help you save money on groceries and meals, homeschool, crafts, and plenty of frugal DIY posts.
We've made many sacrifices so that I can stay at home to teach the boys, and I've become pretty frugal in order to help make that possible and to keep it that way. It's become a challenge I truly enjoy, and one I enjoy sharing with you!
This week:
Family Fun on the Weekends - Kids eat Free Deals
Did you know that kids eat free all weekend at Steak -N- Shake? Well, they do and it's yummy!
They even have $.99 oreo ice cream treats for desert - my boys were in heaven. It was a great way to spend family time and have a meal out with no buyers remorse.
For the adults - they even have several meals under $4 each that will please any pallet
Other possible options:
Tuesdays - Applebee's - nights
- Beef O'Brady's - 4pm to 8pm
Most Chili's and Denny's have Kids Eat Free nights - check you local restaurants:
It doesn't have to be gourmet. The kids will have a wonderful time if you are having a wonderful time - we like an atmosphere where they can be themselves (kid friendly) and yet we can still hear each other carry on a conversation.
