Kids in the Kitchen - Link Up #19 - Family Stir Fry

I'm teaming up with my good friend Carrie from Young Living Oil Lady  to bring you the
Kids in the Kitchen family food Link Up! We hope to encourage families to get back to the
table together and to enjoy preparing healthy and fun meals. Everything is healthier when
cooked at home with love. Grab a button and link up your favorites!

Stir Fry:

Slice london broil or flank steak into bite size strips of meat. Heat skillet on high with Tbs of oil in bottom
Recruit little helpers to chop 1 green pepper, green onions,  1 large onion, mushrooms & water chestnuts
Cook enough rice to feed your family - brown rice is healthiest - cook 2 cups broccoli 4-5 min in microwave
We used a wok to cook our meat just through - then set aside - added veggies (except broccoli)

Cook veggies (except broccoli) in hot skillet or wok until translucent - about 5 - 10 minutes on high

Add sauce to veggies with 3 tsp of minced garlic & 2 -3 tsp of ginger paste - mix 2 Tbs corn starch with
sauce separately - then add back into pan and stir into veggies, add meat and broccoli back to pan and stir

Spoon stir fry onto rice - sprinkle with fresh green onions and with sesame seeds! Enjoy -

Grab the button below or on my side bar and link up your favorite recipes
Please be sure to visit several others who link up to encourage families to get back to the table together!
Please feel free to Pin the recipes - I am trying to get to each blog to leave comments -
I'm pinning and sharing your recipes on twitter and facebook - linking back to your blogs!

Looks and sounds delish. I've not seen that stir fry sauce here, but I'll look. Wow...now you've gone and made me hungry!

First off, yum!

Second, what a fantastic idea for a link-up. Cooking is one of my daughter's favorite activities to complete together. Even premade cookies thrill her.

Very fun.
