Human beings are natural collectors. Children are curious about the world around them, how it works, and how it relates to each of us individually. This natural curiosity often leads to collecting – a gathering of information and even a gathering of things to study.
We live near the beach so it is a given that we collect sea shells. But, the boys have an interest in collecting many different things – including bugs!
There is no end to the interesting things in nature – just waiting to be collected!
