Weekly wrap-up: I is for iphone pics




In my life this week…

             " I " is for iphone pics . . . and i'm glad sandy is gone 

(still praying for those affected most) 


                 " I " is for island life 

In our homeschool this week…

              " I " is also for i have rowdy boys 



               " I " is for icky crab critters

 - go out and explore God's Creation 

                                                                   don't get hung up on thinking school 

                                                                   has to look like traditional ideas of school

          " I " is for inspired by all of the above 

Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…


                 " I " is for our island  " I " is for island bible study and

 island festivals for Fall  






We also met homeschool friends at the park to decorate cupcakes and play 
We enjoyed the time spent with special friends at our house- Jenn @dazeofadventure
the kids caught a soft shelled turtle (accidentally) and released it without harm (whew) 



My favorite thing this week was… 

all the lovely memories I captured with my " i " phone





We are reading . . .  

We are reading about God's creation 

and this week was about exploring and playing outside 

while taking times to notice the details. 

We use Apologia's Swimming Creatures curriculum and 

                                  One of our favorites : World of Animals by Master Books
