Kids in the Kitchen - Link up 46 - Swaddled Dogs

Family Friendly Recipes -
Getting the Kids Involved in the Kitchen:

We are big believers in family participation in the kitchen
I join forces with Carrie @ Young Living Oil to bring you

a Link Up for Tuesdays encouraging families to cook and eat together
It will stay open for 6 days until Monday night for you to share your family recipes and tips
for getting kiddos to help out  in the kitchen

                This week:
Merry Christmas!

Our boys are suiting up for a new year's worth of cooking in the kitchen

We've been making cookies, decorating gingerbread houses and more - but
the simple recipe we want to share this week is our version of traditional "pigs in a blanket"
For Christmas we are calling them "Swaddled dogs"

They are made with fully cooked sausage or lil' smokies and crescent roll dough
Cut dough into smaller triangles and wrap up the sausage - cook according to directions
(we lowered the temp by 25 degrees to cook a couple minutes longer and heat the dogs)

Our biggest kid of all in the kitchen:

We Do hope you'll join us!
